NTN's summer internship program aims to foster the minds of the future who will ultimately develop and bring the most innovative ideas to life at NTN. This summer, our interns were placed across a wide range of teams and in different roles, from marketing communications to production, logistics management, manufacturing, and more. The interns were able to receive hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world applications. To aid in their professional development, each intern was also given the opportunity to shadow a professional in the field they are most interested in.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to the outstanding interns that joined NTN’s team this summer. We’d like to highlight and thank each individual intern for their accomplishments at NTN!

 

 

 

Stefano Valdes, Engineering

Stefano worked as an Engineering Summer Student at NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada and assisted in digitalizing project documentation as well as maintaining the lab workroom equipment.

 

 

 

Emi Miyazaki, Marketing

Emi worked as a Marketing Coordinator Co-Op Student at NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada on varying tasks within the department such as the proofreading of marketing content as well as the development of the NTN loyalty app.

 

 

 

 

Shenaaz Sran, Human Resources

Shenaaz worked as a Human Resource Student at NTN Bearing Manufacturing Canada assisting with recruitment activities for CMF production employees and with the digitalization of HR and EHS records.

 

 

 

 

Aidan Bailey, Manufacturing Production

Aidan Bailey worked as a Manufacturing Production Student at at NTN Bearing Manufacturing Canada, assisting with maintaining 5S standards within the production facility which was critical for employee safety.

 

 

 

   

Bryan Imafidon, Quality Assurance

Bryan worked as a Data Analyst Intern at NTN Manufacturing Canada. His duties involved developing and implementing data management systems. He also developed various document management systems to streamline the daily activities at the Quality Assurance department.

 

 

 

Theiviyan Devadaas, Engineering

Theiviyan worked as an Engineering Intern at NTN Bearing Manufacturing Canada. He assisted on the cost savings project for 3D printing of spare parts that involved converting 2D drawings into 3D drawings and creating actual parts using CMF’s new FDM 3D printer. Theiviyan also assisted on material handling improvements on a production line including new design components.

 

 

 

Caden Dequilla,  Manufacturing Production

Caden worked as a Production Intern at NTN Bearing Manufacturing Canada. Caden operated and helped maintain machinery and production line equipment. Caden also assisted with maintaining 5S standards within the production facility which was critical for employee safety.

 

 

 

 

Klajvert Boshnjaku, Manufacturing Production

Klajvert worked as a Production Intern at NTN Bearing Manufacturing Canada helping to produce and assemble bearing products. He operated and maintained machinery, and helped ensure production standards were met. Klajvert also helped maintain 5S standards within the production facility which was critical for employee safety.

 

 

 

 

Emily Trahan, Manufacturing Production

Emily worked as a Production Intern at NTN Bearing Manufacturing Canada and helped monitor the assembly of bearing products. Emily also assisted with maintaining 5S standards within the production facility which was critical for employee safety.

 

 

 

 

Hasan Ramadan, Warehouse Logistics

Hasan Ramadan worked as a Warehouse Logistics Intern at NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada. Hasan managed the repackaging of Hitachi products and also assisted the assembly team with work order completion and the repackaging of bulk items.
