Jessie Summer Intern

Internships are very important part of our education program at NTN Bearing Corporation of Canada.

In setting up professional internships, not only will we be able to offer students a chance to work with industry professionals, but the students also will be able to take the theory they learn in the classroom and put it into practice here, in whichever activity they’re focused. We’d like to highlight and thank each individual intern for their accomplishments at NTN!

My name is Jessie O`Donnell. I am 21 years old and attend Wayne State University on a softball scholarship, where I study Sports Management and Exercise in Sports Science. Going into my third year of university, I feel incredibly confident with the career path I am pursuing due largely to my experience as a summer intern at NTN. Working within the marketing department has allowed me to explore the various exciting roles within a marketing team and improve on several key skills. During my time here, I’ve significantly improved my competency in Excel. In addition, the fast-paced environment has helped strengthen my time management, organizational, and communication skills, enabling me to feel more confident when confronted with challenging tasks. The supportive, family-like community at NTN always made me feel welcome and excited to wake up each morning and go to the office. They consistently made themselves available whenever I needed guidance, and more than anything, taught me the value of teamwork. I know that my experience at NTN will be invaluable to my success in the classroom and on the softball field, and I am beyond grateful for this opportunity.
