Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator (AOE) is responsible for assisting with sales activities and processes that help the sales organization run effectively, efficiently and supports business strategies and objectives. The Sales Coordinator will assist the Sales Team by providing delivery status updates, expediting back orders and ordering parts required and stock.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains direct interaction with customers. (Calls, orders & inquiries.)
  • Monitoring supplier’s activity to ensure customer's original promised delivery date can be met; expedite if necessary
  • Providing early notification to sales staff of any unexpected delays within the product's supply chain
  • Micromanagement of Product Sales Process including but not limited to Sales Order- Purchase Order­ Transportation - Warehouse - Outbound Shipment - Customer delivery
  • Global sourcing of available inventory to fill any inventory shortages
  • Receive and bill customer orders for affiliate and nonaffiliate sourced items (Direct shipments)
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Knowledge and previous work experience with JDE 9.2 (asset)
  • Product knowledge and industrial application is an asset

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented with the ability to problem solve
  • Excellent communication skills, both strong written and verbal
  • Extremely organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize projects
  • Excellent MS Office skills with an emphasis on Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Ability to consistently represent the company and its customers in a professional manner

Education and Professional Experience:

  • University Degree in business or other related field
  • Two (2) year of related customer service, inventory or purchasing work experience.
